Jasmine Bencito

President

What’s sizzling, Red Devils? I’m Jasmine Bencito, a rising junior,*ahem* the youngest of the bunch hehe. I am especially eager to serve as your president for the 2020-2021 term! As president, I delegate tasks to the executive board; communicate with our club, faculty & Kiwanis advisors, and LTG; act as the mediator; act as the representative at Key Club events; and especially serve my members and club! I was introduced to Key Club after seeing my upperclassmen friends post about it while I was in 8th grade, and my first reaction was that I wanted to be a part of this club! I joined freshman year, but didn’t find myself becoming immersed until I had started my sophomore year! I hadn’t expected that my Key Club Journey would start there but since then I've been so enthusiastic for my club!

Alanna Le

Vice President

What’s poppin’? I am a bubbly 12th grade student at Mt. Diablo High School. I been in Key club for 4 consecutive years and I am continuing to pursue my legacy in breaking the barriers our community faces and invest in honing empowering skills. I love bringing the best out of people, volunteering, and looks forward to drinking boba/hiking/k-drama. I send reminds, utilize email organizations and advisors, create sign-in attendance, and check upon due paid members! In addition, I aid the President, officer, or members whenever I can!. I was timid and knew nobody my freshmen year of Highschool. My tip is please don’t be afraid to talk to others because if there’s one thing they all have in common it’s that they’re collectively the most kindest, caring people no matter who you are. A simple service event allowed me grow into a outstanding person I am today. My favorite experiences are all the bonding and service events I attended through my time with my friends and new friends I made!

Alexandrea Petalver

Vice President

I'm in 12th grade which is pretty exciting and scary at the same time because us seniors are almost out of high school and we’re growing up. This will be my 2nd term in Key Club as vice president. Basically what I do is aid all the officers, mainly the president with their duties. I also search for more volunteering opportunities, and during meetings I’m in charge of keeping track of the members who attend. At my previous high school, I was really motivated to join many clubs for better looks for college. During club rush, my cousin told me to look into Key Club and just by looking at the club, it looked really fun and was a fast way to rack up some volunteer hours for leadership. I was the only freshman that joined the club at the time, but I really loved it and told my friends to join! There are way too many favorite experiences for me to count, but I made new friends along the way!

Natalie Bongolan

Treasurer

My name is Natalie Bongolan and I am a senior. My position is treasurer and it’s my duty to control the club's money, both its collection and disbursement. I Collect member dues, prepare and monitor the budget, and maintain accurate financial records. I was introduced to Key Club during freshman year by my bestie, Alanna Le. My favorite key club memory is when we had an event at Heather Farms where they held their first annual “March for the KFH”. During this event, I was making cards and in this one card I created a maze but in the title I wrote the “z” in maze backwards. I was wondering why it looks soo weird to me and then when I realized what I had done; I showed my friends and other key clubbers and we had a good laugh about it.

Isaiah Landa

Secretary

My name is Isaiah Landa, and I am on my way as a senior/12th grade. I am the club secretary and I am responsible for logging in service hours, meeting minutes and updating our MRF/ club term information. I was introduced to Key Club by my friends, Sergio and Nicholas. I joined during the beginning of Junior year to have my dues paid at the same time. The experience I favor the most about Key Club is the friendliness between people of different backgrounds but similar achievements—this being service and leadership.

Nicholas Martinez

Editor

Hi! My name is Nicholas Martinez, you can call me Nick too, I'm club editor and responsible for keeping up the club socials, and website. I also make all the original graphics, stickers for our club, and take pictures (when there is physical events)! This is my 2nd term as Club Editor as I am skilled in visual communications, I felt that with how improved our club became my first term, I wanted to see how much more we can still improve during this last term. I can't explain how I feel about Key Club, my experience has been out of this world with other people in Key Club and service events. This website was my responsibility and I hope members can receive more information of Key Club that they were (or weren't) looking for.
